Rodents
Rodents comprise about 40% of the mammal species. They are found worldwide in all habitats. They include mice, rats, squirrels, prairie dogs, chipmunks, porcupines, and beavers. They are mostly a small animal with a robust body, short limbs, and a long tail. Most eat seeds and plant material but some have a varied diet.
