Pelicans and Cormorants
Pelicans are a large water bird. They have a characteristic long bill with a large throat pouch that they use for fishing. They have a large body, and a long neck. They frequent inland and coastal waters, where they feed primarily on fish.
Cormorants are a medium to large-sized aquatic bird. All species are fish eaters and are excellent divers. Their feet have webbing between their toes, long necks, and their bill is long, thin, and hooked. When diving they often use their wings to help propel themselves.
